I take photos of surfaces, moments, and memories as I walk and wander, in places near and far, with oceans between. Yet an internal monologue and subjectivity emerge in these playful pairings of otherwise unconnected places.

I reimagine a Kantha by combining Katha (story), Kotha (conversation with myself or with someone or with the viewer), Kat ( land), and enticing surfaces so rich with marks, stains, patterns, and textures as becoming Kanthas made by time, by non-human entities: wind, water, wood, weather, wistfully whispering
